Power Women Magazine: The writer remembers watching Mary Ann on PBS years ago, and she says that Mary Ann's easy recipes make even the novice cook feel at home in the kitchen.
Broken Teepee: Sampling Mary Ann's Lemon Wafer Cookies was a huge success! Take a look at this photographic journey to biscotti goodness.
And last but not least, MarthaStewart.com: Sandy from the Martha Stewart Living Radio Blog loved Five Ingredient Favorites, and tried out an easy salad recipe.
Ciao! I teach CCD at my local parish (Western MA) and made biscotti as gifts for my fellow teachers. I tried an experiment that worked very well...I made basic biscotti dough, but instead of anise I added orange extract, grated (on a microplane)zest of 1 orange, 1/2 c. of candied orange peel, finely minced, and 1/2 c. of chopped walnuts. They toasted up fragrant, not too sweet, and delicious.
Buon natale!
PS My son is in kindergarten and needed a show and tell picture for "e" week. He was the only kid to come in to school with a photo showing him and his siblings with last year's eel, which we were cleaning for Christmas Eve dinner!

Thank you Jeffrey and buon natale to you too. Those cookies sound delicious and I love the fact that you serve eel on Christmas Eve, a true delicacy.
